Gantry is building infrastructure and developer tools to help machine learning teams turn their projects into production-grade machine learning systems. We offer an Evaluation Store, a single source of truth for model performance metrics. Our tool helps machine learning teams understand the performance of their models in production and make operational decisions like whether to deploy, when to retrain, and what data to label and retrain on.

We are hiring a data visualization engineer to design and develop the charts and visualizations our users interact with. The ideal candidate will be comfortable owning visualizations from concept to implementation. Machine learning data tends to be rapidly changing and high-dimensional. Your work will push the boundaries of the field of data visualization. And since our tool is focused on understanding the performance of ML models, your work will be critical to the success of our product.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with our design and product teams to understand customer needs and use them to define the charts and visualizations that make up the dashboard
  • Implement the visualizations we define in our react-based web dashboard
  • Conduct user research to understand how our customers interact with the visualizations you are creating
  • You'll participate in development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of systems.
  • Define our data visualization software stack
  • Set engineering standards and culture as we grow the team
